Coming in at number 10 is a home grown special. This loo is in the Sofitel in Melbourne and looks out over the Fitzroy Gardens and the MCG. Apparently on a clear day you can see to the Dandenong ranges.

Number 9:

The view of the San Fransisco bay from the guard tower at the famous Alcatraz Prison is one that would make work more bearable. If your shift consists of being stuck in a tiny room for 8 hours, you would be pretty happy that you have a loo, and a spectacular view.

This loo has polled at number one, not because it is gimmicky like some of the others, but because of the absolutely stunning views of Johannesburg Mountain in the North Cascades national park, Washington. Although it doesn’t have much privacy, it would be one place us at loo with a view would love to visit.
